Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent)
- Previous exposure to engine calibration/testing/development.
- Basic understanding in following engineering disciplines; electrical, software, & mechanical.
- Basic understanding of equations governing hydraulics/pneumatics, rotational/linear mechanical dynamics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and compressible flow.
Shift: 1st shift – 100% on-site
Relocation: Assistance available
Hours: Standard business hours. May be required to come in on off hours/shifts during projects
Salary: Open Market – dependent on experience, highly negotiable.

Job Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated engine Calibration Engineer with desire to work both in our extensive dynamometer lab and with our customers. We offer an environment that is always interesting & challenging.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply engine operating fundamentals, engine management strategies, and calibration techniques
- Complete solid engine and application calibrations in a timely manner, meeting the customer performance targets
- Test new and existing engine products, as required, validating suitability for use in customer applications
- Provide technical support to our customers on all aspects of their application as it relates to our products and calibration
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous exposure to engine calibration/testing/development.
- Working knowledge of PC-based presentation, spreadsheet, & word processing software.
- Basic understanding in following engineering disciplines; electrical, software, & mechanical.
- Basic understanding of equations governing hydraulics/pneumatics, rotational/linear mechanical dynamics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and compressible flow.
- Basic understanding of engine control systems, sensors, laboratory test equipment, and calibration techniques.
