Job Description:

General Function / Summary:

Are you a creative HR professional that would like to take their career to the next level? Our Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for creation of content to improve associate performance and to ensure organizational productivity. This position is also responsible for playing a key role throughout the associate lifecycle delivering operational excellence and general HR support to the organization.

Essential Duties:

Assist in the end-to-end process of training, including in-take process, fact-gathering, analyzing learning needs, stakeholder signoffs, design and development, delivery, execution and scheduling of courses, and follow-up on completion.

Lead and manage small learning projects independently to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and project success.

Assist with day-to-day management of the Learning Management System.

Ongoing review of learning metrics to align with critical skills or identified competencies.

Remain current with advances in training, education, and authoring tool trends.

Work with stakeholders to understand key business drivers, identify performance gaps, and develop effective trainings.

Perform audits to ensure learning completion, system accuracy, etc.

Assist with the routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to learning and development, recruiting, benefits, recognition, and human resources operations.

Perform other assigned projects or tasks.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience in Human Resources

2 years of application of adult learning concepts and principles

Experience in training and development, financial services experience preferred

Experience in instructional design and developing learning content

Familiarity with analysis, design, development, and evaluation of learning programs

Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities

Experience using one learning design systems and visual design (e.g. Articulate, Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.) preferred

Understanding of xAPI, SCORM, LMS, and In-App Learning Technologies preferred

Experience in leveraging eLearning technologies to create eLearning

Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong project and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs 

Experience using Workday Learning preferred

Ability and willingness to consistently live and embrace our core values of accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused
