Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Geotechnical Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team in Cleveland, OH. If you are an experienced Geotechnical Engineer eager to contribute positively to your community, this role is for you.


The ideal candidate will play a vital role in our team's success by delivering engineering and consulting services across a diverse range of projects and clients. Responsibilities will include leading field investigations, conducting engineering analyses, and developing comprehensive plans and specifications.

As a Geotechnical Engineering Specialist, you will ensure compliance with design specifications by reviewing drawings and construction processes. You will also be responsible for preparing proposals, estimating costs, and monitoring project progress and budgets while suggesting necessary adjustments.

Additional duties encompass researching and resolving design and construction challenges, evaluating laboratory and field data for report inclusion, and effectively communicating complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Our services cater to various sectors, including public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage detailed phases of projects with moderate complexity
• Independently execute a variety of projects or segments of larger initiatives
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work
• Collaborate closely with senior project managers to enhance project management skills
• Make informed design, engineering, and construction recommendations
• Prepare proposals and reports for projects of varying complexities
• Conduct quality control reviews of proposals prepared by others
• Analyze complex laboratory and field data for report integration
• Serve as a technical advisor to junior project team members
• Engage directly with clients and project teams to define service scopes and communicate project updates
• Write and prepare comprehensive engineering reports detailing services, findings, and recommendations
• Participate in marketing, sales, and business development initiatives
• Supervise graduate, field, and project engineering staff
• Adhere to safety protocols and report any safety concerns to management
• Maintain high-quality standards across all projects

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• EIT or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history
