About the Job:

Reporting directly to the FVP of Wealth Management, the primary goal of the Sr. Licensed Sales Assistant is to manage the client service center and provide advisor sales and operational assistance for the IB Wealth Management team. This role is responsible the daily operation of the IB Wealth Management call center. The Team Leader will also serve as an internal sales associate for the investment reps.

What You Will Do:  

Follow established procedures, balance priorities, meet team goals and objectives in a fast work environment. Perform complex administrative tasks for the FVP of Wealth Management and wealth team. Correspond with clients to complete new account setups, asset transfers, and other brokerage transactions, including trades. Compile data, prepare, analyze, and provide reports to management, accounting, HR, and other departments as needed. Answer client questions in accordance with FINRA compliance standards for the financial industry. Provide support to wealth advisors in the areas of reporting, customer/business documentation, sales and service goals. Maintain wealth service databases, conduct financial research, complete special projects as assigned. Provide processing, operational, administrative and client service support. Provide specialized service and standout experiences to clients. Manage wealth management sales assistants to support IB Wealth Advisors under the direction of the FVP of Wealth Management. Ensure compliance of the IB Wealth program in conjunction with the FVP of Wealth Management. Perform high level administrative, and support functions for the IB Wealth team. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High level proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Excellent verbal, listening and communication skills. Professional and highly organized with excellent time management skills in order to prioritize workloads effectively. Strong attention to detail. Must be a self-starter, dependable, accurate in completing responsibilities with strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Critical thinking skills, good judgment and effective problem-solving abilities. Ability to use appropriate software and learn new programs as necessary. Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple tasks. Must exercise good judgment, accept responsibility and handle confidential information.

Education/Training Required:  

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in investment sales and financial services field. Five or more years of investment sales experience in a bank or financial services industry. Investment sales program management strongly preferred. Series 7 and 63 licenses, life and disability insurance licenses for states of (Compete) (or ability to obtain applicable license(s) upon hire). Continuing professional education is required and development of advanced credentials and/or license/training is expected.
