About the Role

The Lead Rehabilitation Technician plays a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation process of our clients. This position requires a strong leader who can guide and mentor staff members, while also providing exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Assist in creating schedules for staff and clients, support training of new staff members, and aid in documentation for business purposes.
  • Safety and Crisis Prevention: Monitor and ensure safety 24/7, support crisis prevention and intervention, and establish collaborative relationships built on trust and empathy.
  • Activities and Daily Living: Help build effective skills for problem-solving, communication, and independence, and assist clients with Activities of Daily Living, including personal care and social activities.
  • Health and Wellness: Monitor vitals for medical conditions or illnesses, promote positive behavior, and attend medical appointments to ensure accurate information is relayed between medical providers and care teams.
  • Community Integration: Connect clients with opportunities in their community to develop relationships with others, support employment, educational, and volunteer interests and goals.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Two-year degree or minimum 2 years' equivalent work experience.
  • Valid Driver's License: Ability to drive and transport clients as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds and become certified in CPR/First Aid.
  • Commitment and Skills: Commitment to scheduled shifts, assigned duties, and performance expectations, as well as basic computer skills.
