Position Objective:

The Business Services Manager will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, business services and payroll functions to support the overall successful operations of the DLCCC including the Center and Historic Holmes Theatre.

The Business Services Manager will report to the CEO and will work with managers and staff to ensure highly reliable and efficient business practices for efficiency of resources and provide positive experiences for members, guests, vendors, and other key stakeholders of DLCCC.  The Business Services Manager will be guided and supported by a Finance Consultant who will provide guidance and oversight to key finance practices including financial statements, annual audit, annual capital, and operating budgets.

Key Duties and Tasks:
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements and oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting.
  • Oversee donor data base and produce reports necessary for fundraising and donor information requirements.
  • Collect and organize data necessary for the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, CEO, and the Finance Consultant to facilitate audit information needs.
  • Organize all data and reports required for completion of annual operating and budgeting process under direction of Financial Consultant and CEO
  • Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
  • Partner with program managers to ensure proper systems and controls for revenue cycle/billing systems and processes for effective billing, collections and operational management including (Jonas, WinTix, etc).
  • Implement a contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
  • Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; automate and streamline processes where possible and manage day to day accounting functions.
  • Partner with  Front Desk and Member Services functions in the Center to ensure positive customer experience and consistent efficient and effective workflows and business practices to enhance organizational financial performance.
  • Serve as the internal lead/point person with PRO Resources for Human Resource policies, recruitment, and payroll processing.
Desired Qualifications:     
  • 2–4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business management
  • Experience and understanding of entire business process and managing front line operations staff.   
  • Excellent organizational skills and understanding of how to develop and implement consistent standard workflows.   
  • Experience with Quick Books Software for accounting and report writing.  
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Salary Range:     

Starting Salary $50k-$55k depending on experience.
