As the Loan Servicing Senior Operations Specialist with the Digital Delivery Team, you will be responsible for reviewing critical Home Equity Line of Credit account documents for completeness and accuracy, preparing mortgage documents for shipment to title vendor(s), reconciliation of recorded documents back to the bank, and ensuring all documents have been imaged and archived according to the bank’s retention policy. Although you will work within established procedures, you will be expected to identify improvement opportunities within these processes. You will work with a moderate degree of supervision. Your goal is to process these requests timely, accurately, and completely to ensure a positive customer experience. You may need to collaborate with colleagues and other teams to achieve these objectives.
Primary responsibilities include
Performs advanced clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
· Utilizes methods, procedures and knowledge of the business unit's product(s) and application(s).
· Research routine customer or bank inquiries as appropriate.
· Determines the source of problems and works to resolve them accurately and within service level agreements.
· Will also utilize knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements to help minimize financial risk to Citizens and detailed knowledge of multiple systems to solve problems.
· May need to work independently on special projects often interacting with all levels of management, serving as a resource for the business unit.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, cross train within the department and assume additional responsibilities as requested by management.
· Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment with the ability to problem solve.
· The position may include reporting responsibilities and may assume department administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
· 5+ years Operations experience
· Positive attitude and high energy level
· Strong customer service skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to problem solve, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
· Understanding, desire and ability to support and execute on continuous improvement
· Strong understanding of department procedures, best practices
· Product knowledge (loans and/or deposit products)
· Proficiency in MS Office
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-4:30Position is fully onsite in Johnston, RI with possibility of very limited travel to Riverside if needed.
