Position Summary

The Production Control Administrator clearly communicates job expectations to data entry/order detailing team and Capacity Planners, while monitoring, appraising, and reviewing their work. Reviews accuracy of order input and changes made, analyze sales returns resulting in credit from entry errors. Coordinate with operations to implement production schedules that align with plans. Enforces company policies and procedures as necessary.

Responsibilities

Reviews error rates and sales returns daily/weekly/monthly/yearly, while giving consistent feedback for opportunity to improve. Monitors multiple workflow mailboxes and ensures communications are timely. Maintain and distribute metrics to monitor schedule adherence, variance to plan, capacity gaps, etc. Reports to VP of Operations. A strong, trusting, and supportive relationship with all members of the Production/Warehouse Team, Customer Service, Account Service, Credit teams, as well as the entire Company is essential to success. When pieces are short/damage, must put in a scrap request. Works with Production on late, problematic orders and contacts customer care. Work on kickbacks from the Production floor and reach out to customers, when necessary. Update/make changes to orders. Work with the Warehouse department regarding fulfillments. Track and update the late shipment report. Quality meeting, viewing the report and showing errors to Supervisors and to Managers. Work with UPS/Fed Ex on international orders when stuck in customs and ensure with Shipping in getting the proper documents to clear the product. Additional duties may be assigned.

Must be organized and able to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with a high level of quality, accuracy and productivity. Provide accurate reports and update information in the systems. Maintain a high level of accuracy in all appropriate functions. Work cooperatively, collaboratively, and individually. Able to stay calm and patient amidst potentially stressful situations. Model appropriate attitude and behavior and maintain a positive outlook. Acts in accordance with all company policies. Analyze opportunities for improvement and problem solving. Ability to thrive in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Previous experience necessary:

High school degree and two years of related experience preferred. Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven design skills and strong working knowledge of type styles and copy fitting. Computer skills, Excel, PPT, NetSuite experience a plus.
