Responsibilities
The Caterpillar Large Electric Power Solutions Division (LEPS) is seeking a Product Strategy and Product Definition lead for . In this role, the successful candidate will perform market analysis, strategy development, product portfolio definition, and detailed product definition for Large Electric Power’s microgrid and , with a focus on Energy Storage Systems and the integration of these systems at a site level. This position will define and support a portfolio of products that meet our customer’s needs, contribute to LEPS’ Energy Transition Strategy , and drives the organization to maximize Caterpillar's value to Electric Power customers and Caterpillar's share of future market OPACC.

Skill Requirements

Products and Services: Knowledge of Energy Storage Systems, Microgrids and Advanced Power Products; ability to apply knowledge of ESS, Microgrids and Advanced Technology to diverse situations.

• Obtains information about product and service linkages with other related products and services elsewhere in organization.
• Researches the target market and how the product and services are sold and delivered.
• Explains current status, delivery alternatives and announced updates to products and services.
• Summarizes key features of major products or services in own unit.
• Assesses own unit's product alternatives, costs, and pricing.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques;

• Identifies, obtains, and organizes relevant data and ideas.
• Participates in documenting data, ideas, players, stakeholders, and processes.
