As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for performing Human Resource-related recruiting duties to support the Organization's employment initiatives in all departments. This position will be responsible for fulfilling Recruiting needs as well as Assistant-level Human Resource functions.

What would an ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist candidate bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in relatable field and 3-5 years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Passion for recruiting in a fast paced, high-volume social services field.
  • Desire to implement and drive the vision and strategy of the Talent Acquisition department.
  • Have a general understanding of HR practices and procedures.
  • Valid Driver's License, transportation, proof of insurance and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
Here is what you can do for Wabash Center as our Talent Acquisition Specialist:
  • Source candidates through a variety of methods and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct phone screens with qualified applicants for all open positions.
  • Write and place job opening advertisements as necessary.
  • Work with managers to discuss hiring needs and follow up regularly to determine effectiveness of recruiting plan.
  • Track employee referrals and notify appropriate personnel of payouts when applicable.
  • Represent Wabash Center at various recruiting events/job fairs.
  • Conduct background and reference checks.
  • Continually track, measure, evaluate and audit recruiting techniques to monitor and analyze effectiveness and update processes as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices, emerging trends, and compliance in recruitment initiatives.
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and organize written materials, schedules and multiple tasks and complete them within established timelines required.
  • Promote positive culture throughout the Organization.
  • Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies.
  • Display and promote the Organization's mission.
