ROLEOVERVIEW

As a strategicRelationship Manager focused on Channel Sales within Minneapolisand surrounding areas. At ABGi, you will report to a NationalManager and be focused on developing and expanding an assignedterritory within the CPA networks. As a subject matter expert intax credits and incentives, you will be the face to ABGi andpartner with CPAs as a knowledge leader to their clients togenerate referrals. On a recurring basis, you will partner withmarketing to lead CPE’s, webinars, attend industry events locally,regionally, and nationally related to tax and tax credits whilealso networking with industry leaders. You will build a marketnetwork of CPAs, lobby leaders, and partnerships that will provideleads and introductions that return in ROI to ABGi.This is a remote position, based in the MidwestRegion area, and requires 40 to 50% travel. Onboarding is based inHouston, Texas.

ADAY IN THE LIFE

  • Actively manage a full territory from identification,prospecting, to referral and partnership with Sr. Sales Directorsin producing qualified referrals from the CPA Channels andqualified Channel Partners.
  • Build and manage afull portfolio of CPAs through both in-person and virtual meetingswith a focus on the mid-market and enterprise, with quarterlymeetings.
  • Function as an ambassador in the CPApartner channel, representing ABGi as a professional specialty taxconsultant by producing related content, attending industry events,producing CLE’s and being a trusted partner.
  • Actively responsible for producing and hitting monthlyrevenue targets as part of the business developmentteam.
  • Continue to market and service new CPA’sand build out existing CPA relationships by producing related taxcontent and find non-traditional methods to provide newvalue.
  • Actively produce cold callingcampaigns, email campaigns, in-person visits, webinars, partnerwith marketing, attend networking events and all other revenuegenerating activity to produce referrals that lead to aclose.
  • Continually report on territory metricswhile working in Salesforce and partner with other businessdevelopment team and sales support as needed.

BASICQUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Engineering,Economics, or other related degree from an accredited university isrequired.
  • Minimum of five plus years’experience in a business development and/or sales background with afocus in a professional service selling environment.
  • Must have experience in B2B sales.
  • Previous experience with channel sales and partnershipsales is preferred.
  • Must have experienceworking within a sales related CRM – Salesforce ispreferred.
  • Ability to travel up to50%
  • Experience selling or partnering in theCPA industry.
  • Must have strong written andoral communication skills.
