PROJECT ENGINEER

 

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Be professional, courteous, dependable and a team player at all times
  • Embrace safety and actively participate in safety compliance and enforcement
  • Assist APM, PM and Superintendent with job specific tasks
  • Assist with preparation of bids, including submitting bid with approval from bid leader
  • Must be organized, proactive and proficient with Microsoft
  • Ensure all team members and subcontractors have current contract documents
  • Coordinate with team members for materials/equipment that need procured; lead times must be confirmed with all vendors
  • Prepare submittal schedule; prioritize by required date on site
  • Populate submittal register in Procore
  • Thoroughly review and process submittals; coordinate with team members
  • Thoroughly review and process RFIs; re-write RFI received from subcontractors as needed and include associated drawings/documentation/solutions with RFI
  • Gather, verify and log all necessary documentation into project management software; take pride and ownership of project controls
  • Ensure team is uploading daily logs into project management software; assist as needed
  • Understand ICRA / ILSM and documentation requirements; assist as needed
  • Attend weekly meetings with owner and maintain/distribute meeting documents
  • Inform team members when projects are ready to begin close-out; coordinate process
  • Requires a minimum of two years construction market experience and preferred minimum associates degree for college education.
