Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in commercial construction and healthcare projects. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

You will also be responsible for preparing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans. In addition, you will need to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project completion
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial construction and healthcare projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and techniques
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam
