Corporate Communications Specialist, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a communications professional in shared services, you know how to team with peers and leadership to understand communications needs and then leverage multiple platforms (e.g., writing, visualization in PowerPoint) to “tell the story”—both within and outside the Delivery Hub organization, and to multiple stakeholder groups at all levels. You also have the experience and skills to tackle multiple communications needs concurrently, all with results that are effective, efficient, and timely. You will be joining the Delivery Hub Change Management and Communications Team (CMC). Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute:

Support communication efforts for Delivery Hub initiatives by writing, editing, proofreading, and posting communications content for talking points, presentations, announcements, newsletters, or promotional materials  Collaborate with CMC and the Delivery Hub Business Operations Lead on developing tactics for engaging stakeholders within and outside the Delivery Hub such as Centers of Excellence or markets and sectors Leverage a wide range of communication approaches and tools to communicate and engage with stakeholders to bring them along in the Delivery Hub’s transformation journey.  Ensure delivery quality and consistency of communications across the Delivery Hub organization.  Help support employee engagement and culture-building activities across the Delivery Hub.

You Have:

5+ years of experience in communications 2+ years of experience with strategic communications  Experience in change management Experience utilizing Microsoft Powerpoint and presenting to leadership Ability to pay strict attention to detail and ensure accuracy Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

Experience in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign  Experience planning or facilitating in-person and virtual meetings or working sessions  Experience with internal communications platforms such as Poppulo, FirstUp, or SharePoint Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders  Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor’s degree  Certified Associate in Project Management (CMAP) certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
