We are currently looking for a dedicated and career-focused Senior Logistics Management Specialist to become part of our team.

Position Overview:

This role entails comprehensive responsibility for the planning, preparation, development, validation, and execution of logistics support aimed at ensuring Carrier readiness and modernization. The specialist will oversee efforts related to US Navy Carrier (CVN) vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver essential support for aircraft carrier operations by providing extensive training, analysis, and technical assistance on maintenance Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) systems and programs.
  • Review, assess, and maintain Configuration and Systems Maintenance Plans (CSMPs), Corrective Action Requests (CASREPs), ship configurations, technical documentation, and material usage data to guarantee operational effectiveness and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate logistics readiness and weapons systems support meetings with key stakeholders, contributing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance logistics operations.
  • Participate in weekly presentations for Command Readiness Calls, identifying supply chain and habitability alternatives to address obsolescence challenges across the fleet.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, along with 15 years of experience directly related to Naval Logistics on aircraft carriers, with a solid understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
  • Eight (8) years of practical knowledge regarding logistics policies, procedures, practices, and instructions on CVNs, which can be in conjunction with the aforementioned experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience collaborating with naval personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline.
  • Recent experience working directly with NAVSEA and NAVSUP.
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating Nuclear Ship requirements to provide logistics recommendations to the Supply Officer.
  • Familiarity with FEDLOG, OneTouch, AMSRR, ACANAB, and CDMOA.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The individual in this role must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and fax machines.
  • Occasionally move within the office to access files, office machinery, or communicate with colleagues and management.
