Role Summary:
The Technical Writer will play a pivotal role in supporting the Data, AI, Infrastructure & Security team by documenting essential technical standards, solution patterns, and architecture decisions. This role focuses on developing detailed and reusable documentation to assist Enterprise Platforms & Security (EP&S) teams, the AI and Data Analytics (AIDA) development organization, and other relevant stakeholders. The goal is to ensure consistent technology usage, streamline cloud migration efforts, and accelerate governance reviews through clear and precise documentation of architecture patterns, cloud hosting frameworks, and technical solutions.
 
What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, engineers, and development teams to document architecture standards, cloud frameworks, and solution patterns.
  • Create, update, and maintain a repository of technical documentation that supports cloud migration and architecture alignment across business units.
  • Document key architecture decisions and solution patterns that enhance decision-making and efficiency across IT.
  • Contribute to the creation of a self-service playbook that promotes best practices and technology consistency across the enterprise.
  • Ensure that documentation is aligned with the technical governance processes, enhancing the speed and accuracy of reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality, comprehensive documentation of technical standards, architecture patterns, and cloud hosting frameworks.
  • Work closely with the Data, AI, Infrastructure & Security team to support ongoing and future cloud migration initiatives.
  • Ensure the creation of reusable content to aid enterprise-wide technology consistency and streamline governance reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation with IT strategies, enhancing efficiency in project timelines.
  • Contribute to a self-service enterprise architecture playbook that will be used by enterprise architects, engineers, and development teams across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably within IT infrastructure, cloud environments, or data and AI projects.
  • Strong understanding of cloud frameworks, architecture patterns, and technology standards.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and reusable documentation for technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and development teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly documents.
