Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer/Editor to create and manage comprehensive documentation for our products and services. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving product documentation, user guides, and process manuals, ensuring that content is accurate, accessible, and engaging for various audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and technical specifications, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other SMEs to gather information and create high-quality content.
- Organize and maintain documentation resources, including reference materials, digital content libraries, and technical diagrams.
- Continuously evaluate and update existing content to improve clarity, usability, and relevance.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, tone, and style across all documentation.
Required Skills:
- Experience writing in Mark Down (common for tech writing), and GitHub for publishing
- Technical Writing/Editing: Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Documentation Management: Experience creating and organizing documentation for software products, services, or systems.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for formatting and structuring content.
- Familiarity with documentation tools like MadCap Flare or similar platforms.
- Excellent research, organization, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
- Experience with content management systems, version control, or Agile methodologies is a plus
