Aroma360 is continuously raising the bar for healthy scenting solutions in the industry We are seeking an Retail Area Manager to work with the Aroma360. 

We are looking for an experienced Retail Area Manager to organize and oversee the operations of a number of stores. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of the stores by setting targets, supervising store managers, and ensuring they are attained. The right Area Manager will have a strategic mindset and are excellent leader. Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning are also essential for the role.
The goal is to ensure our stores will meet and exceed expectations of business development and efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-store management
  • Experience in luxury or high-end retail
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Proven track record of identifying opportunities, designing and implementing strategies to develop business.
  • Pro-active, curious, continuous improvement and team-player mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce preferred.
  • Passionate Brand Ambassador and business leader who conveys the Brand's philosophy and values to the local market, team, and clients.
  • Extremely driven business owner who holds themselves accountable for achieving a successful overall store performance, development, and growth, maximize sale with attention to detail, ensure profits through careful management including but not limited to operating expenses, payroll, inventory etc.
  • Guarantee excellence in Client experience, leading by example to placing the Client above all and delivering the best service.
  • Team management: motivate, inspire, and provide mentorships to set them up for success, create a positive working environment, trusting relationships, and teamwork.
  • Promote the cooperation and synergies between operations, visual merchandising, and effective communication to convey univocal messages to identify successes/opportunities and develop solutions and ideas for the success and growth of the business.
  • Controlling costs with vendors, payroll, store supplies, etc. to maximize revenue.
  • Manage store schedules including paid time offs (vacation, personal and sick time).
  • Maintain communication with the headquarters to ensure all deadlines are met and requests are followed through.

LEADING THE BUSINESS

  • Oversee stores' results and implement tailored actions aimed at maximizing sales/KPIs and improving performance.
  • Provide with proper objectives (monthly/yearly/daily), ensuring follow-ups, and proposing and implementing any corrective measures.
  • Weekly manager's meetings via Microsoft Teams to ensure all strategies and action plans are discussed with a focus on sharing success, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Routine store visits as needed and whenever possible especially when top clients are visiting.
  • Management of all processes and procedures concerning product (delivery, stockroom management, product handling, inventories, etc.) including but not limited to implementation of all stockroom and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure an impeccable image inside and outside Stores, intervening where necessary.
  • Ensure a constant and effective flow of information between Stores and other functions (Retail Merchandising and Visual Merchandising), focusing on products, sales, and customers, to meet the market needs promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department, to ensure the achievement of the sales target and the implementation of the agreed strategies.
  • Collect all strategic product information received from Retail Merchandising and Visual Merchandising and convey to geographic areas and headquarters.
  • Be up to date on the local market trends, competitors, local events, client needs, etc.; participating in social happenings and be an example to Store Managers to develop external relationships.
  • Implementation and alignment of store operations, procedures and ensure they are correctly enforced: stock management, stock takes, loss prevention, IT, cash processes, post-sale management, housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Delivers operational excellence in all stores and are aligned with Company standards.

MARKETING

  • Implementing a competitive marketing strategy, follow through and delivery.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with mall management and marketing and social media teams to ensure inclusion, participation and partnerships are intact.
  • Communicate local and corporate office policies to stores and comply by leading by example.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hotels, event coordinators, magazines, marketing companies, musicians, and vendors to ensure the best service, rate/costs and to be in the know of local events, happenings, and social gatherings.
  • Creating in-store or off-store events to bring brand awareness and create client participation and revenue.
  • Establish and maintain store and regional manager relationships from other brands to compare business, foot traffic, marketing strategies and visual presentations due to market, weather, shopping trends, future events, etc.
  • Oversee the retail event calendar for the market, cooperate for effective and timely event activities, propose opportunities to gain new clients, maintain product and VM needs for events.
  • Ensure events and promotional activities are successfully implemented to develop the customer base and sales.

CLIENT DEVELOPMENT

  • Oversees the client portfolio of all stores ensuring appropriate actions are implemented with focus on building loyalty and growing customer spend.
  • Actively monitor the client growth performance and work with each Store Manager to define dedicated actions to foster customer loyalty.
  • Proactively partner with the Store Manager to develop the Clients database to ensure growth.
  • Guarantee the implementation of the selling ceremony to offer a unique experience to customers, in accordance with the Brand DNA.
  • Provide updated customer mapping of the customer database for each single store, guaranteeing alignment with Company standards of personalized loyalty actions.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Collaborates in relationship with Human Resources to support store and to share professional growth.
  • Leads the stores, motivates, and coaches the management team and encourages growth and development of talents while always maintaining a positive atmosphere.
  • In cooperation with Human Resources, define staff requirements for stores, presenting the necessary reviews of the organizational structures and the relevant requirements in terms of headcount to improve performances and ensure staff productivity is maximized.
  • Ensure a constant dialogue between the Company, the Store Manager, and the Store Staff, organizing and attending monthly and/or weekly “Store Manager meetings”.
  • Develop and coach the Store Managers, supporting them to become true brand ambassadors and making sure they are the best players in the market.
  • Manage the store personnel and define recruitment, training, development, and retention plans for sales staff.
  • Strive to recruit the most talented people and to build the best store management representation in the luxury goods industry.
  • Guarantee that grooming standards decided by the Headquarters are communicated and respected.
  • Define and supervise the Performance Management process, from the assignment and assessment of objectives to the analysis and development of the competencies required in cooperation with the Human Resources Functions.
  • Identifying staff problems and addressing them and issue corrective actions if needed.
  • Ensure current and future profitability through preparing and delivering quarterly and yearly performance reviews on competencies and achieved results.
