Location: Juneau County, WI
Compensation: $15-$17/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Rotating Saturdays)
Responsibilities as the Office Administrative Clerk:
- Phone Support: Answer pharmacy calls, troubleshoot queries from caregivers, and resolve incomplete medication orders.
- Clerical Tasks: Assist with minor billing functions and perform other assigned duties.
- Medication Management: Understand the difference between generic and name-brand drugs; use critical thinking to investigate unfamiliar medications.
- Administrative Assistance: Provide general administrative support, such as going to the post office and assisting with various tasks as needed.
- Healthcare Background: Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of Medications: Basic understanding of medications, including generic vs. name-brand drugs.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and investigative mindset.
- Phone Etiquette: Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Certification Willingness: Willingness to get certified as a Pharmacy Technician within 3-6 months.
