Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Interim HR Coordinator to join its team. This role is vital in supporting various HR functions and ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate will handle HR processes well and have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Worksite Location: Maple Grove, MN – Fully Onsite Opportunity; Seeking Minnesota / Twin Cities based candidate only.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation related to staffing, recruiting, training, grievances, performance evaluations, job classifications, and employee leaves of absence. Request information from previous employers and other references to determine applicants' employment acceptability. Process background checks. Process and review employment applications to evaluate the qualifications or eligibility of applicants. Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants. Record data for each employee, including addresses, weekly earnings, absences, number of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance and dates, and reasons for terminations. Assist in administering employee benefit programs and workers' compensation plans. Screen job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate them. Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar HR role. Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in HRIS and MS Office applications. High level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
