Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support Student Union Facilities & Event Services as a Facility Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Summer or Fall 2024.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
Reviews the daily setup reports Sets up equipment and fixtures for events in and around the Russell Union, Williams Center, and associated facilities Reads and reviews daily operations reports Completes required event and program documentation Maintains cleanliness and order of all equipment in all storage rooms Assists with custodial as needed Maintains a safe and clean work environment Attends staff meeting as neededShift Specifics
Up to 20 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Some nights and weekends may be required Availability will determine a Summer or Fall start date
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University
Proposed Salary
$8.00 per hour
