Or are you at the stage of your career where you've already done that, and you are interested in another few years at the helm and want to do it right?

We have an Executive Director role for someone excited, hungry, driven, energetic and ready to join our team of urgency and execution A potentially flagship property that needs to go from good to great. The owners have taken management back in-house, so there are few (if any) layers in the org chart; just the right structure for execution and doing the right thing.

Your role as an Executive Director

As a new Executive Director at Steadman Hill Assisted Living in Kingsport, TN, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our community and generating exemplary financial results.

This role is important and complex, but the nuts and bolts of success are:

  • Leading a team that is second to none. We don't 'settle' for mediocre talent and this role is 90% about the people. Finding the best, developing the best, holding them accountable, respecting and appreciating them, and ultimately keeping the best This naturally applies to all people, our residents and their families especially.
  • Building and maintaining a fully occupied property, which benefits residents, associates and investors. This is paramount to the position and a sales-focused leader is a non-negotiable for this position.
  • Leading and developing department heads to manage and exceed their budgets. Exceeding budgeted expectations is a baseline expectation.
  • Creating and nurturing a culture based on our core values and establishing a market presence that exudes who we are and what we do.
  • Creating the only place where seniors in the greater Allen, Texas market want to live and associates want to work.

Basic Criteria:

  • A bachelor's or associate degree in related field, or experience in a similar field.
  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience.
  • Licensure or the urgency to complete licensure required by the state.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment is essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary.
  • Although not required, we encourage U.S. military veterans and mature candidates to apply.
