Description

The Credentialing Specialist role involvesrecommending, developing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and/orevaluating Academic Human Resources policies, labor contracts, statutes,programs, and procedures covering one or more of the following: academicrecruitment, appointment, and advancement; compensation and salaryadministration; faculty welfare programs; visa procurement; benefits; payroll;training and development; faculty misconduct; and faculty equity

Salary offers are determined basedon various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience,and equity. The full hourly salary range for this position is $30.56 - $60.82.Please note that the department's target hourly pay range is $30.56 - $45.69.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and /or equivalent experience / training.
  • Basic knowledge of and ability to apply/ interpret organization and college policies and procedures which governacademic HR.
  • Knowledge of organization, college anddepartmental formal and informal policies and procedures and understanding ofvariances to stated policies.
  • Knowledge of human resources managementsystems and other related business software programs and systems.
  • Knowledge of unit academic culture andeducational goals of discipline(s) served.
  • Analytical skills to conduct analysisand develop recommendations to Chairs / unit management.
  • Demonstrated organization, problemsolving, and communication skills.
