A successful candidate will be self-motivated with good time management skills, a professional demeanor, strong sense of the confident nature of the records that they maintain, have a particular attention to detail and accuracy, and possess at least 1 year of experience in the following: 

FMLA Medical L.O.A. A.D.A. E.E.O. Worker’s Compensation O.S.H.A. 300A Reporting and Filing 

Position duties include, but are not limited to: 

Weekly attendance for 185+ employees ensuring adhesion to benefit policies as designated in the Employee Handbook and/or respective Collective Bargaining Agreement. New employee intake process for all departments and branch locations in Kentucky and Tennessee. Maintain employee records and retention policies. Assist employees with benefits. Complete employee accident reports and investigation process for all employee work-related injuries and filing them with our corporate headquarters. Maintain said confidential records for ongoing Worker’s Compensation Cases. Maintain OSHA 300A log for annual filing. Monthly D.A.R.T. filing. Background Checks, State New Hire Filings, FMCSA Clearinghouse. Organize Safety Committee Meetings Assist corporate V.P. of Human Resources with Union contract negotiations. Assist with organizing and planning special events, as needed. 

Competency Required:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Federal, State and Local Labor Compliance Requirements. O.S.H.A. Reporting Compliance 

Educational Requirements:

High School plus minimum of 1 year experience in Human Resources for a company with over 100 employees.
