Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Payment Management: Process payments through various methods, including electronic payments, ACH, and checks.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor records; address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports; ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Documentation and Filing: Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable transactions; ensure proper filing and retrieval of documents.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role; experience with accounting software. SAGE 100 experience is not required but is a plus.
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and principles.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
