We are seeking a committed Payroll Clerk with Paycor experience to join our team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Payroll Clerk, your main role will be to support the day-to-day operations of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing across multiple locations. You will also be involved in auditing, reporting, and resolving payroll discrepancies, as well as interacting with various team members and departments within the organization.


Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing for multiple locations.

• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, tracking errors, and reporting findings.

• Conduct internal payroll audits to ensure the quality and accuracy of processed payroll.

• Facilitate understanding of payroll procedures among management and employees.

• Prepare compensation reports for leadership and support the Payroll Specialist with the creation and distribution of bi-weekly payroll reports.

• Assist with yearly audits and maintain payroll records in accordance with agency and IRS record retention requirements.

• Act as the primary point of contact for Paycor in relation to garnishment orders, child support orders, and federal, state, or local taxes.

• Collaborate with the Human Resources department as needed.

• Answer staff and management questions regarding payroll processing and compensation calculations.

• Perform benefits administration in collaboration with Human Resources, including reconciliations to ensure benefit withholdings are accurate.

• Perform 401K administration in collaboration with Human Resources, including the transmittal of 401K withholdings with each payroll.

• Perform system administration within the payroll processing system, working closely with Paycor to update current systems and troubleshoot system errors as they arise.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must for the role.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Ceridian software is expected.
• Proficiency in using Dayforce is desirable.
• Experience with About Time software is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial.
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
• Auditing skills are essential for this role.
• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is required.
