Your Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will:

Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.Connect with biopharmaceutical scientists and IT professionals to understand their needs and raise awareness of Genedata Screener Actively identify opportunities by uncovering critical assay analysis needs Drive business and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure: conduct outreach, qualify prospects, manage software demonstrations (with the professional services team), communicate proposals, build value, negotiate and close deals Manage active accounts - build trusted relationships to become the preferred partner for your clients, understand customer situation and scientific, technical, and business needs, manage software renewals and retain customers, expand licenses, develop opportunities for paid projects

Interact with with the professional services, product management, marketing and other teams to identify and build opportunities and sell software and services

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a qualified salesperson with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to be a key member of our Business Account Management Team. The successful candidate will have the following background:

Passion for accelerating biopharma R&D through high-value enterprise software solutions. BSc or MSc or PhD Degree in a Life Sciences discipline Commercial mindset At least 2 years experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B related to the life science industry, preferably in software sales Familiarity with drug discovery processes Experience with scientific data analysis software Willingness to take initiative, excellent planning, organization and time management skills Excellent knowledge of English Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
