Job Summary: 

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for expanding the sales and growth of our facilities in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will have the ability to build strong communication, deliver customer satisfaction, create profitable revenue, and a long-lasting rapport with new customers and cliental. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Develop and maintain key customer relationships in retail building materials.
Meet and exceed sales goals for assigned territory.
Collaborate and communicate across departments to deliver profitable sales growth and customer satisfaction 

Demonstrate thorough understanding and execution of each step in the sales process to drive new business.
Management of partnered accounts.
Regular travel to customers in your territory.

Exhibit thorough understanding of the business: Woodgrain capabilities and processes, products, customers, supply chain, local market trends and conditions, competitors, and market pricing.
Demonstrate thorough understanding and execution of each step in the sales process.
Collaborate and communicate across departments to deliver profitable sales growth and customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Must hold a clear and valid driver’s license.

Flexible to travel and overnight commute.
3  years sales experience in building materials or wood industry preferred.

Proven track record of developing and building customer/client relationships. preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills preferred
Ability to meet and/or exceed sales goals and objectives.
Experience using MS Office Products preferred
 

 

 

Physical Demands: The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
