What role you will play in our team

 

We are looking for environmental professionals with Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting background to provide support for our Unconventional Upstream Global Business Unit (GBU). The role will assist in our GHG emissions reporting, program enhancements, compliance tracking & resolution, and act as liaison between the Business Unit and federal agencies as required. Work closely with multiple functions in work activities including Business Unit Environmental & Regulatory staff, Engineering and Operations; Consultants; Law; Public & Government Affairs; and Management.  This role will be integral to accurately tracking and reporting progress toward ExxonMobil’s ambitious GHG emission reduction targets. 

What you will do

 

  • Pull emissions data from multiple systems
  • Track GHG emissions by source category
  • Validate data and calculations of GHG emissions
  • Steward all data requests from stakeholders
  • Manage QA/QC process for GHG emissions data
  • Submit all emissions data internally and externally
  • Support Business Units in understanding new rule changes in GHG subpart W requirements
  • Support calculation modifications in the GHG calculator
  • Develop workflows for data validation processes by emissions source
About You

 

We are looking for someone who has an environmental background, preferably in GHG reporting and/or air compliance, but can be adaptable to other oil and gas environmental experience.  We are looking for applicants that have the following qualifications:

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

Knowledge and experience in upstream oil and gas operations
Understanding of EPA Greenhouse Gas Regulatory and Reporting Program
Technical and environmental / socioeconomic background
Excellent communication / interpersonal skills for training and presentations with the ability to influence without formal authority
Experience working with cross-functional teams to solve complex issues
