Job Summary:

The Environmental Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry codes and standards. This position requires a confident individual who can operate autonomously in a role critical to project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental engineering principles and be able to develop and implement effective solutions to complex regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental systems and applications
• Coordinate environmental engineering efforts with specialty groups and engineering disciplines
• Conduct environmental engineering studies and prepare environmental impact reports
• Provide technical assistance to other Environmental Engineering personnel and interact with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issues and industry codes and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering
• 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
• Familiarity with US environmental legislation and industry codes & standards affecting standard design, quality, or processes
