Job Summary

As a Water Resources Engineer at Civil and Environmental Consultants, you will be responsible for performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam safety assessment, design, compliance, and rehabilitation of water resource utility infrastructure and stormwater facilities. You will also conduct floodplain and drainage studies, interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials, and impact the project from conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam safety assessment, design, compliance, and rehabilitation of water resource utility infrastructure and stormwater facilities
Conduct floodplain and drainage studies
Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials
Impact the project from conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction

Requirements

B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
5-10 years of experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas: hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management and compliance, dam safety engineering
Demonstrated experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience producing engineering drawings
Writing skills and preparation of technical reports
Experience with Unsteady Flow and 2D Hydraulic Modeling preferred, but not required
