We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Learning and Development Coordinator. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating development programs and learning materials for the People Development Team, and ensuring successful communication and execution of development programs. The ideal candidate will have a background in learning and development, project management or documentation, exceptional communication abilities, and the agility to deliver quality content within tight timelines.

Responsibilities:

Program Development: Assist in the creation and development of learning and development programs that align with the company's strategic objectives and meet the diverse needs of our internal audiences.

Training Material Preparation & Maintenance: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, training manuals, and multimedia content.

Manage and update content repositories and databases, ensuring materials are current, organized, and readily accessible.

Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on learning materials to ensure accuracy and relevance, meeting established standards.

Coordination, Scheduling, & Communication: Support the execution of learning programs with a focus on efficient scheduling, logistics, and clear participant communications.

Demonstrate strong communication skills in conveying complex concepts through simplified written and visual materials for various training programs.

Collaborate with other communication specialists to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of communication regarding learning initiatives.

Training Delivery: Occasionally assist in the facilitation of training sessions, providing guidance, support, and tracking participant progress.

Feedback and Evaluation: Collect feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and performance metrics, and generate reports to evaluate program effectiveness.

Learning Technology: Stay updated on the latest learning and development technology trends and tools, and suggest innovations to enhance the training experience.

Industry Trends: Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices, adapting strategies for continuous improvement in learning and development coordination.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Technical Writing or a related field.

Basic understanding of instructional design principles.

Proven experience (2+ years) in learning & development coordination with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to deliver quality work within tight timelines.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Collaborative mindset with the agility to work efficiently in cross-functional teams.

Creative approach to enhancing engagement and effectiveness in learning materials.

Strong project management skills, managing multiple tasks with efficiency.

Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate…).

Experience with LMS technologies (LearnUpon, Canvas, Docebo…)

Knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices.

Work Environment

At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Both local and remote employees can take advantage of our incredible office space with onside perks like company-paid meals, onsite massage therapist, golf simulator, and meditation room to name a few.

Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $61,000 to $73,000. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
