What you will do:
Complete assigned preventative maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, and other industrial equipment. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control circuits, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, switches, sensors, and timers. Ensure clear and constant communication regarding potential system issues, proposed fixes, and estimated resolution timelines. Track and perform routine maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment. Ensure orderly classification of additional parts to allow for immediate identification. Request and confirm that replacement parts are ordered and available when necessary.
What you will bring:
Electrical/electronic background and 3-5 years of related experience.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, however, a combination of experience and related trade school or an associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechanical technician programs will be considered.
The ability to obtain certification in maintaining Dematic systems will be required. Training will be provided.
The ability to read and interpret operating, maintenance, and safety documents.
Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as strong planning and organizational skills are required as well.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Required to stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout the entire shift. Require to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery. Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to visually inspect machines and hear for odd and/or inconsistent sounds. Typical warehouse environment.Salary Range: This role is a non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay range of $25-40/hr. Rate based on prior experience.
Location: This role is based out of our Cranbury, NJ Central Distribution Center
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am
