Business Development Associate - Lead Generation

Amplity has a current opportunity for a hungry go getter ready to develop their career. We are seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating sales leads through various channels, including strategic research, prospecting, personal based emailing, and cold calling. The Business Development (BD) Associate will also collaborate with the marketing and senior members of our sales teams to implement lead nurturing strategies to qualify top of the funnel prospecting or more serious opportunities and ensure a smooth handoff of more qualified leads. Leveraging our insides sales technology stack and customer relationship management (CRM) system, this role requires a proactive approach to inside sales related lead generation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Become familiar with all of Amplity’s service and product offerings related to supporting the pharmaceutical and biotech industries – with a particular focus of our medical communications and offerings. Work on strategic lead generation business development campaigns to generate phone meetings and opportunities for Business Development (BD) in support of Amplity’s pharmaceutical outsourcing services and product Research and identifying target demographics of business-to business pharmaceutical and biotech industry buyers and influencers, using various marketing channels and techniques to attract prospects Serve as a strategist on the team to generate ideas and solutions relevant in the current marketplace Write stand-alone emails and email series that help Amplity maintain achieve industry standards around BD email open and click-through rates Maintain accurate records of campaigns launched and all corresponding results Assist with the creation of high-quality PowerPoint slides, from concept to client-ready presentations to help support any meetings that are set Leverage data analytics, digital marketing tools, and CRM systems to optimize their efforts Provide accurate depiction of data to support the presentations and proposals Work closely with Business Development to ensure all deadlines are met Compile and generate weekly and monthly reports to assure transparency in all work being taken on for Amplity’s different business units and products Maintain the required information technology expertise, and competitive product knowledge in accordance with Amplity/client standards

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred or equivalent work experience. Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, as well as experience in database applications, CRMs (such as Salesforce.com), collaboration sites, and portals Pharmaceutical industry experience highly preferred Experience with Outreach i.o., Orum, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar inside sales digital ecosystems are a huge plus  Proficiency and previous experience with SFDC as an integrated customer relationship management platform Strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills - ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple stakeholders Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure and tight timelines Strong analytical skills Intuitive business sense Proactive thinker – anticipate the needs and requirements related to a project and act accordingly Strong team player
