THE ROLE

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. This intern will be responsible for focusing on consumer marketing for our University of Miami Partnership and their fans. We are looking for someone who has a passion for marketing and service to improve the live chat for the University of Miami and their ticketed sports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage all customer issues on live chat while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, provide thoughtful prompt resolution with empathy, poise a consistent voice with the on-going goal of establishing a positive customer experience. Enhance the artificial intelligence capabilities of the live chat by continuing to add information to the live chat’s knowledge base. Fulfill or triage customer requests or direct them to the appropriate team to do so. Responsible for achieving sales and service goals. Identify process improvement opportunities and feedback to the management team. Maintain ownership of issues to resolutions and escalate unresolved issues through proper channels. Maintain proficient knowledge of products and services and ability to educate customers on such, as well as cross sell various products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Currently enrolled or has obtained a Bachelors degree preferred. Preferred interest in working in sports and entertainment. Ability to work on average 20 hours per week. Ability to prioritize and organize projects. Eager to learn and work with your department in the company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized and ability to multitask a few projects at once. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use hands to finger, and handle controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and stoop. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
