Amerant Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior International Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our international business development team, you will be responsible for managing and retaining a book of business of high net worth and ultra high net worth personal, commercial, and financial institution customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new client business using external knowledge of target markets
  • Assess customer goals and needs and provide comprehensive advice on banking products
  • Stay up-to-date on financial products and services to provide the best advice and optimize cross-selling potential
  • Coordinate client meetings with product specialists to support the sale of products and services
  • Identify potential customer issues and escalate them to the relevant units for resolution
  • Seek constant feedback from customers and identify quality issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Participate in required training and corporate events to stay current on industry regulations and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or law
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience managing a book of business from international customers
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Proven interest in capital markets and advanced financial knowledge
