Associate Director, Oncology Sales Forecasting

Regeneron is seeking an Associate Director, Sales Forecasting & Analytics to act as a leading business partner to the Commercial functions responsible for supporting financial and operational decisions that may impact product and business unit revenue. In this role you will be responsible for the generation, analysis, tracking and dissemination of the commercial revenue forecasts, analyzing actual sales performance and providing related insights for Regeneron’s marketed and new Oncology products.

A Typical Day In The Role Might Look Like:

Develop and maintain patient-based forecast model applying a mix of epidemiology, secondary data, and primary market research-based sources resulting in detailed patient flow buildout and all relevant variables to produce and analyze revenue forecasts. Convert assumptions to demand sales units, gross and net sales. Understand and analyze actuals, perform revenue variance analysis to isolate and articulate performance drivers. Work closely with Commercial Business Unit leaders, their teams and other internal partners to ensure forecast models, associated scenarios and outputs reflect all relevant assumptions and information related to products and indications covered. Assist Finance leadership and Senior Management colleagues with understanding sales performance with all underlying components and layers (net, gross, price, volume/demand, market share etc.). Stay abreast of market dynamics and competitive landscape for brand including commercial, regulatory, research and development events for competing products and product candidates.

This Role Might Be For You If:

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You have strong organizational and prioritization skills with an attention to detail. You have a strong understanding of the biotech/pharma industry and have prior experience developing and maintaining forecasting models for biotech and pharmaceutical products. You have a shown ability to manipulate raw data, interpret and provide analysis and insights.

This role requires 8-10+ years of progressive industry/meaningful professional experience is required. To be considered for this opportunity you must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, health and data science or a related field; master’s degree (MBA) is a plus. Prior sales forecasting experience in biotech/pharma is required for this role. The Associate Director, Sales Forecasting & Analytics will work directly with senior leadership in Finance and Commercial.
