Surgery Scheduler

Position Summary
Performs general clerical duties while scheduling endoscopy and surgical procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Schedules Operations; patient names, operation to be performed, name of surgeon, type of anesthesia Bills endoscopy cases Orders equipment and supplies needed for the department Assists with prepping of the rooms in the Surgical Admissions Unit Prepares patient charts for the following day’s cases Candidate must be professional, good listener, self-motivated and able to multi-task scheduling functions.Education/Experience
High School Graduate or equivalent PC and AS400 Knowledge preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology.Comprehensive Benefits Program (Not all inclusive)
