Responsibilities
  • As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll be the guardian of our quality and food safety standards. Your daily mission will revolve around:
  • Championing safety practices to cultivate a secure work environment. You'll be the eagle eyes spotting potential hazards and ensuring they're promptly addressed.
  • Conducting diligent monitoring of plant sanitation and personal hygiene, guided by Good Manufacturing Practices and our own stringent standards.
  • Carrying out precise quality checks throughout production, transforming raw data into insights that drive excellence.
  • Embracing and supporting comprehensive compliance to ISO-GFSI, FDA-FSMA, and our internal Food Safety & Quality programs, embodying the principle that quality is non-negotiable.
  • Leveraging your expertise to perform comprehensive analyses of incoming materials, processes, and finished products, ensuring they meet our high-quality benchmarks.
  • Continual learning and growing, bringing innovation and improvement to our processes through lean practices, six sigma, and a persistent quest for excellence.
Qualifications
  • A foundational education with a High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Food Plant Quality Assurance, or 5-10 years of production expertise can also set the stage for success in this role.
  • A strong desire to be part of a proactive, positive team environment.
  • Exceptional analytical prowess, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A working knowledge of lab safety practices and hazardous material handling.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to ensure clear safety and quality directives.
  • The ability to foster outstanding interdepartmental relationships.
  • A proactive nature, capable of independent work and taking initiative.
  • Dependability with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and various quality software suites, making technology your ally in ensuring quality.
  • Beverage industry insight is an added bonus, offering a taste of what to expect and excel in.
