This position is for a Senior Quality Engineering expert who will independently strive to meet critical goals within their designated responsibilities. The individual may supervise quality engineering methodologies and initiatives, shaping the development, adjustment, application, and upkeep of quality assurance systems and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, adjusting, and sustaining quality assessment frameworks
  • Offering insights and suggestions for testing and inspection strategies
  • Overseeing nonconformities and design challenges
  • Employing PPAP core components for risk assessment
  • Verifying compliance for work transfer and process modification management
  • Collaborating with internal teams to uphold quality benchmarks
  • Formulating proactive quality initiative strategies
  • Conducting root cause investigations and proposing corrective measures
  • Executing product engineering modifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering support experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience
  • U.S. Person status

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Familiarity with APQP/PPAP processes
