Long-standing, local manufacturer of rubber products: speed bumps, wheel chocks for American & United airlines, rubber bases for plastic cones, etc. is seeking a Machine Operator to operate machines according to safety and production standards:

Duties and Responsibilities for Machine Operator:

Operate machines according to safety and production standards Pour crumb rubber from mixer into buckets - can weigh up to 50 lbs Pour crumb rubber into molds Close presses using dual hand buttons Remove product by hand with hand tool when presses auto opens automatically after press cycle Visually inspect product for defects Put parts on pallets Operate up to 4 presses at a time Apply corrections from supervisors Keep work area clean Perform daily counts

Skills and Qualifications for Machine Operator:

Ability to work with minimal supervision Must be able to follow all safety rules and guidelines Ability to work in a hot work environment, you will be operating machinery to melt/form rubber into molds
