JOB SUMMARY

Assist Director of Facilities & Chief Engineer with administrative tasks in addition to purchasing and inventory requisitions for all three properties. This position will report to the Executive Director of Engineering and the Engineering Chiefs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate all incoming calls, directing work request and emergency calls to the chief engineer and shift supervisor. Works closely with the corporate and property team to coordinate and provide assistance as requested. A forward thinking individual who makes new recommendations based upon proven method analysis. Is conscientious, organized and sets realistic timelines. Delivers work on or before deadlines. Must have a positive attitude and the flexibility to work with several departments and personalities at all levels of the organization. Exemplifies our core values, family style service, our mission and vision. Exemplifies our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture. Perform other job related duties as assigned. Interfaces with all departments within The ROW to maintain Brand Integrity Provide Engineering Team members with any assistance they may need

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

High school education or equivalent preferred. Must have the ability to provide our guests with excellent customer service have excellent communication skills and observation skills Having an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests.  Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.  Need 1-3 years computer skills: Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft words and data base. Need excellent record keeping and phone skills. Candidate should be self-motivated; detail orientated, and prioritize multiple tasks Excellent written skills with the ability to adapt and represent a variety of brand voices Other desired skills include time management skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.  Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, from property to property. Must be able to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations. Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills.Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
