The Global Services Group (GSG) provides American Express’ renowned brand of customer service to consumers, merchants, and corporations. How will you make an impact in this role?

This Manager – Global Services Group Finance opportunity is a financial management and decision support role for two organizations: Global Real Estate and Global Supplier Management. These organizations are critical enablers for the operation and success of Global Services Group as well as American Express. To be successful, the candidate will need to collaborate with business partners to size potential risks and opportunities using data driven insights and modeling. This role will have exposure to senior leaders and will interact frequently with GSG Business Partners as well as Corporate Planning & Analysis and Business Unit CFO teams.

Build and maintain high-impact relationships with Global Real Estate and Global Supplier Management business partners. Collaborate with Finance and Business Partners in support of forecasting and results analysis Implement new tools and process improvements to enhance reporting, enable analysis, and drive automation Partnering with Business to develop recommendations, influence outcomes, and meet business objectives Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) in support of Real Estate deals and long-term strategy Presenting to Senior Leadership, including Business and Finance Perform ad hoc analysis leveraging Finance and GSG data 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in Finance or a relevant Analytical role Manipulates large amounts of data and generates meaningful insights Continuously questions analysis to identify and correct inconsistencies Breaks down problems and applies appropriate techniques to solve Synthesizes data and articulates key messages in an easy-to-understand story Demonstrates thought leadership and deals effectively with ambiguity Acts and leads with courage Makes decisions quickly and effectively Approaches challenges with an agile mindset Builds and leverages relationships to influence and drive results Effectively manages multiple priorities and tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with knowledge of Macros/VBA a plus Experience with Oracle Smart View, IBM TM1 Planning Analytics, and Microsoft Power BI is preferred

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
