Position Overview:

The role of Product Manager is a key leadership position within the Kerry Life Sciences Group, specifically focused on the Cell Nutrition sector, which emphasizes cell culture and bioprocessing applications.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the primary business lead for specific products and target markets on a global scale.
  2. Define and execute the strategic direction for Kerry's Cell Nutrition portfolio and its associated product families.
  3. Oversee product lifecycle management to ensure alignment with current and future customer needs.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development initiatives and generate application data.
  5. Conduct market research in partnership with strategic marketing to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with the global commercial team to enhance portfolio growth and uncover new opportunities.
  7. Represent customer interests internally to enhance overall satisfaction and implement necessary changes.
  8. Lead discussions on operational improvements with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance, offering business insights on prioritization.
  9. Develop effective promotional and sales tools in conjunction with marketing and commercial teams, ensuring consistency in communication.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Technical expertise in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and bioprocessing applications.
  • A solid understanding of cGMP regulations.
  • A global perspective with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to execute plans independently.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • The capability to articulate complex ideas and align stakeholders around a common vision.
  • Experience in building and analyzing financial models for forecasting and tracking performance.
  • Creativity in understanding customer needs and developing compelling value propositions.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business is required, along with a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant technical experience in the healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sectors. Experience in sales or marketing is advantageous, as is a background in leading cross-functional teams and direct customer engagement.
