At Madison Health and Rehabilitation, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. Our team of compassionate healthcare professionals is at the heart of everything we do. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist to join our team.

This position will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and other staff members. This role requires a proactive approach to recruitment, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.  In addition this role will conduct orientation and assist human resources in HR functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the skilled nursing facility.

Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.

Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and make recommendations to hiring managers.

Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.

Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities.

Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment.

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

Strong understanding of healthcare roles and qualifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
