The incumbent will perform preventive/corrective maintenance on HV equipment, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and execute/supervise installation and commissioning.

69kV – 550kV experience is a must | 80%+ Travel (Mostly day trips, home most evenings and weekends) | Overnights around 20% | Generous relocation is available

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of High Voltage Substations and equipment (>69kV), doing field assignments, erection, testing and repair

  • Equipment experience: transformers, generators, breakers, capacitor banks
  • Knowledge of operating test equipment, such as CB timers, power factor, TTR, conductor, CT testers, Megger
  • Experience performing electrical tests, SF6 leak detection, gas analysis, timing, power factor, & contact resistance
