Job Opportunity for Field Service Technician

This is a unique opportunity to bring comfort and joy to hard-working individuals through the service and maintenance of coffee equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that local businesses have properly functioning coffee equipment, allowing them to provide their customers with the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain expert knowledge from our training team to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and timely arrival to scheduled appointments to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Perform scheduled service on equipment, including proactive maintenance, installations, machine removals, asset management, and emergency service requests.
  • Manage equipment inventories, including quarterly warehouse inventory and van inventory/cycle count checks, and order parts as needed.
  • Follow proper procedures, including electronic invoices, customer names and contact information, report quality issues, and other related activities.
  • Drive and maintain a state-of-the-art company vehicle, equipped with navigation screen, shelving, and other features to ensure your success in this role.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Resides within 30 miles of Portland, OR
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to provide a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 75 pounds and driving on a frequent basis
  • Ability to work on-call hours at least once a month (on-call duties are covered by a rotational program)
  • Ability to travel overnight to JMS Regional Training Centers, Corporate office, and other territories as assigned
