Student Assistant

The Student Assistant works as Facility Maintenance for Campus Recreation and Intramurals on the Statesboro campus beginning Summer or Fall 2024.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
This position is part of CRI's Job Fair, March 1-29, 2024.
Responsibilities- Performs daily and scheduled maintenance for RAC indoor and outdoor facilities and fitness equipment
- Addresses and refers maintenance concerns promptly to the appropriate entities
- Sets up and takes down equipment for free play, program areas, and special events
- Performs assigned duties to support the University's mission
- Assists in moving large equipment within MC Anderson park and occasionally across campus
- Drives to pick up supplies from local vendors and to University Park
Shift Specifics
- Up to 25 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
- Availability will determine a Summer or Fall start date
Educational Requirements
- Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University
