As an integral member of MercyOne’s PHSO department, the PHSO Business and Application Analyst assists the PHSO team in the planning, coordinating and execution of project implementations that involve capturing data and information. MercyOne Medical Group – Central Iowa is one of Iowa’s largest multispecialty clinic systems, made up of more than 50 primary care, pediatric, internal medicine and specialty clinics located throughout Dallas, Jasper, Polk, Wapello, Warren and Webster counties.

Leads and collaborates with analytics team and serves as the primary contact for shared data systems and reports related to MercyOne PHSO and its Participants

· Collaborates with Chapter/Regional leadership to improve data quality and CM staff to improve system functionality

· Maintains appropriate data system user access and compliance

· Coordinates and monitors work plan activities and leads projects and initiatives as needed.

· Facilitates Train-the-Trainer training for purposes of MercyOne PHSO Data Systems, as needed

· Facilitates user acceptance testing for new PHSO Participants and Chapter staff

· Facilitates System updates with team/key stakeholders, including training documents

· Facilitates/collaborates onboarding of general functionality, supporting division specific end user as appropriate including training documents

· Coordinates and analyzes front end functionality for accuracy and confers/consults with other employees/vendors as needed

· Act as vendor liaison with PHSO

· Facilitates and coordinates requests regarding data quality validation.

· Manages cadence review of standard data sets that supports reporting

· Compiles and prepares reports on an as needed basis, including but not limited to quality, compliance and care management reporting. 

· Consults with population health vendor leadership regarding project management, priorities, timelines and assignments

· Maintains detailed knowledge of population health and EMR applications, systems and programs

· Responsible for project requirement gathering and documentation

· Communicates project status reports to PHSO leadership and the PHSO data team.
