Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert, analyzing and configuring business systems solutions to meet organizational requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with system users to gather and assess user requirements, evaluate the feasibility and impact of system modifications, and propose enhancements to improve system functionality and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and expertise for business systems, including troubleshooting issues, implementing system modifications, and managing system upgrades.
- Utilize a ticketing system to review and resolve issues, enter necessary data changes, and deliver solutions to end users while maintaining high standards of customer service and adhering to service level agreements. Escalate complex issues to senior staff as necessary.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user manuals, to ensure accurate and current information.
- Engage in system testing activities, including the creation of test plans, execution of test cases, and oversight of user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of system modifications.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support and guidance to facilitate system adoption and proficiency.
- Lead small projects, creating project plans, identifying training and communication needs, and guiding stakeholders through the execution of changes.
- Stay updated on trends, best practices, and system updates to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- May collaborate directly with vendors to troubleshoot or monitor issues and resolutions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience is required, with a preference for direct business systems experience.
- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to comprehend and interpret technical documents are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with business-specific programming languages is preferred.
- Experience with UKG is preferred.
- Configuration experience is required.
